Auditorium COAATM

AREACAD has been awarded the contract for the design and execution of the audiovisual remodeling project for the Auditorium of the Official College of Quantity Surveyors and Technical Architects of Madrid.

The College needed an auditorium with high-quality audio and video capabilities to host all the events and activities they organize on a daily basis. The challenge was to have a high-performance system with multiple functionalities that also offered ease of use in its daily operation. For this, an Extron control system has been integrated, which has been programmed and configured to tailor the system, providing control over all elements of the room. Projection, signal routing, audio control, lighting, and simultaneous translation capabilities enable the hosting of in-person events, in-person training, online events, and even film and theater exhibitions. The installed projection system reaches 4K resolutions, and the sound system has been equipped with Genelec monitors and subwoofers, delivering a high-quality experience for all events held in the space. The control system also allows for streaming events, with ease of use for the staff. It includes a motorized camera system integrated into the control for event production, and to enhance the capture quality, the stage is equipped with professional lighting controlled by the system to ensure the necessary color temperature and lighting uniformity.

The College uses this space for all internal corporate events for its members, but it also offers third parties the opportunity to use this high-quality space for other types of events, adding additional value to their investment.
